With all the above it is without a doubt that we can confirm Muhammad ﷺ was indeed a true Prophet of Allah as he indicated this to us in the following narration

“The thing I fear for my ummah the most after me is the action (homosexuality) of the people or Luut” [Ahmed, Tirmidhi, ibn Majah]

One of the Prophets biggest fears for this ummah has truly turned into a reality. 

Now the same way his ﷺ fear and concern was accurate...don’t you think his guidance on how to deal with homosexuality in the community will also be accurate? 

Unfortunately we have fallen into two extremes with regard to the issue of homosexuality. Some have treated it worse than disbelief whilst it is no more than a major sin unless the person believes it to be halal, whilst others have gone the other way by watering down the Islamic rule to the point of assimilating with the disbelievers in their transgression. 

So what is the middle path? 

And in this current climate how do we navigate the issue without being labelled as ones who are provoking hate speech? 

If a person is suffering from homosexual tendencies how does he overcome them with Quranic and Prophetic guidance?
