Wudhu is so important in our religion that scholars place it even before the Salah in books of fiqh...because if you get your wudhu wrong...your Salah can be invalid!
It’s not as simple as just splashing some water on your hands and face, there are a LOT of rulings connected to it and many questions that you can relate to will undoubtedly come up for example:
- How do you wash a thick beard vs a thin beard?
- How do you make wudhu whilst wearing make up?
- Can I wipe over tights instead of washing my feet?
- Does my wudhu break if I take off my sock
Imagine we came on the day of judgement and our salah was incorrect because of our wudhu being incorrect? The wudhu is from the conditions of the salah, so if that isn’t met the salat isn’t correct.
The last course I taught in east London last summer on wudhu, had some of the students messaging in saying that this course changed their worship for the better, it in fact changed their lives after maybe doing mistakes for the last 25 years of their lives.
It is also a chance to join interactive classes where you get to engage with the teacher and ensure your questions are understood and answered.
If you didn’t know the following things about wudhu then this course is for you:
- When you wash your arms up to your elbow you MUST wash your hands as well even if you started the wudhu by washing the hands before the face. Your wudhu I’ll be nullified if you don’t do this!
- Whilst wiping over your head you actually wet the hair quite a bit...this is not correct as it turns the wipe into a wash and Allah told us to wipe the head!
- When you wash your face you do not wash it length wise from ear to ear...without this your wudhu will be nullified
- And there are many more questions that we could ask right now but I think the above are enough to alert you to the importance of this course
