But why and how did Allah give him the way out? The Prophet ﷺ explained this for us. He ﷺ told us the dua Yunus عليه سلام said when he was trapped in the stomach of the fish:

لا إلاه إلا انت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين

The Prophet  ﷺ said, a Muslim does not make this Du’a except that Allah will respond to him!

So if you’re in a difficult situation, make this Du’a and Allah will aide you and help you get out of this difficult situation. 

Some of you may be thinking, I actually make this Du’a but I’m still stuck. But do you really understand what the Du’a means? Making these Duas without knowing what they mean is like a man with no soul. He is there but he can’t do anything.
