The Command For War
After many years of suffering, enduring harm and pain the Messenger صلى الله عليه و سلم was driven out of the beloved city of Makkah. By the second year of migration to Madinah the command for war had come from above. That was the beginning of the first and greatest battle in the history of Islam, the battle of al-Badr.
Why sign up?
The battle of al-Badr marks a very important event in the history of Islam. Prior to its occurrence the Muslims had been suffering and were forced to leave their homelands due to the oppression that they were enduring. Because of this oppression many had lost their lives.
After finally reaching a land of safety a command was given from above by Allah for the permission of war and battle against the enemies that had violated, oppressed and taken the rights of the believers. In this course we will take a detailed look at all of the events that left up to the battle of al-Badr, the battle itself and that which occurred after it.
There are many benefits that we can take from this battle from the importance of obeying Allah to understanding how and where victory comes from. We will inshaAllah cover as much as possible so we get a holistic understanding of this event.
